What We Actually Teach

Skip the theory overload. These are the specific skills you'll work on with us.

Stress Patterns

Where you put emphasis changes meaning completely. We drill this until it becomes automatic—because that's when your English starts sounding right to native listeners.

Connected Speech

Native speakers blend words together. You probably know this already but don't do it yourself. We show you exactly how words connect in natural speech.

Intonation Control

Rising and falling pitch isn't random. It signals questions, certainty, interest. Getting this wrong makes you sound unsure even when you're not.

Problem Sounds

Some English sounds don't exist in Mandarin or Taiwanese. We identify your specific challenges and give you exercises that actually work.

Real Listening

You can't produce what you can't hear. We train your ear to catch subtle differences that you've been missing—and then help you replicate them.

Speaking Confidence

Knowing pronunciation rules doesn't help if you freeze in actual conversations. We create low-pressure practice situations that build genuine comfort.

How We Got Here

Started small in 2019. Found what works. Kept doing more of that.

2019

First Cohort in Kaohsiung

We launched with eight students who were tired of traditional classroom English. Most had TOEIC scores over 800 but still struggled to be understood in meetings.

2021

Method Refinement

After working with 120+ professionals, we rebuilt our curriculum around the patterns we kept seeing. Dropped what sounded good in theory but didn't actually help.

2023

Corporate Programs Launch

Tech companies in Hsinchu Science Park started asking if we could work with their engineering teams. We adapted our approach for workplace communication.

2025

Expanding Throughout Taiwan

Now serving students across Taiwan with both in-person and remote options. Our fall 2025 intake opens in August—spaces fill up quick.

Linnea Fjeldstad

Lead Pronunciation Specialist

I moved to Taipei in 2016 after teaching linguistics in Oslo. What surprised me most? How many advanced English speakers here had never received proper pronunciation training. Grammar? Perfect. Vocabulary? Impressive. But spoken clarity? That's where I saw the biggest opportunity to help. I've spent the past nine years figuring out which aspects of English pronunciation actually matter for non-native speakers working in international environments—and which are just perfectionist noise. My background in phonetics helps, but honestly, most of what I know comes from watching hundreds of students finally be understood without having to repeat themselves.
